Empower vulnerable and neurodivergent young mothers and families
Build confidence, strengthen parenting skills, and help families feel capable, supported, and emotionally grounded.
Provide early-help and practical community support
Offer accessible guidance so families can avoid crisis, manage day-to-day challenges, and feel supported before situations escalate.
Create safe, inclusive, culturally-aware spaces
Give families a non-judgemental place where they can learn, connect, and grow.
Bridge gaps between families and local services
Improve access to health, education, SEN, and social-care support for families who often struggle to navigate systems.
Build peer support and community connection
Reduce isolation and help parents form supportive friendships and networks.
Activities
1. Community Workshops (6-Week Programmes & Stand-Alone Sessions)
Sessions focus on practical parenting, emotional wellbeing, and developmental understanding, including:
Meal preparation and nutrition
Sensory play and sensory regulation
Child development and developmental milestones
Routines, boundaries, and behaviour support
Co-regulation and emotional regulation
Relationship building and healthy communication
Household organisation and home structure
Parental wellbeing and stress management
2. Outreach & Parent Support
One-to-one guidance for young or neurodivergent mums
Early-help style support for routines, appointments, and SEN needs
Advocacy when navigating schools, Family Hubs, midwives, or social services
Practical help around daily challenges and parenting tasks
3. Community, Peer Support & Connection
Friendly community-based group sessions
Peer support circles where mums can talk, share, and learn
Activities that build confidence, reduce isolation, and strengthen social networks
4. Signposting & Safeguarding Awareness
Help accessing local support services
Advice and guidance around safety, wellbeing, and early intervention
Clear signposting to mental health, DV, SEN, and crisis support where needed
