Aims & Activities
At the Institute of Wellbeing – we believe that WELLBEING is a core component to our being and also to our society. We take an holistic - whole-person, whole-family, whole-community approach to tackle – disadvantaged families, social inequality and exclusion, by raising social awareness and creating positive environments which is crucial for us – especially during this COVID-19 era. Right now – Home Learning Environments and Wellbeing is a critical component to the fabric of our society. Our projects are usually functioned using a place-base working model - drawing people, resources and assets from across the public, private and voluntary sectors to reach targeted families with targeted campaign messages. For many of those on the frontline - it’s been really busy supporting them – mentally and emotionally. Our online presence offers an array of support resources for mental health and wellbeing Our online Wellbeing Café is a vibrant safe space for parenting and everyday support / life issues Our Wellbeing Champions have monthly access to talking spaces and activities in the communities to participate in. Our Waiting List for Hungry Little Minds literacy goodie bags continues to grow for the lack thereof; We’ve offer parenting courses for FREE And Advice in the Café is FREE too Each day we support our parents, our Wellbeing Champions, our Community Influencers and Leaders, in nearly every aspect of life And we have been established since 2001 as a national partner with the Department of Education and Department of Health and Social Care and Department of Culture, Media and Sport.
