The Living Wandle Landscape Partnership Scheme is supported by the National Lottery through the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) and aims to deliver a series of improvement projects along the whole length of the River Wandle.
The over-arching aim of this scheme is to reconnect local people with their river.

The river should provide a healthy, multi-functional landscape with opportunities to involve local people in a range of projects and activities which celebrate the heritage, culture, landscape and biodiversity of the river. The project will seek to establish the Wandle as a defining landscape signature to this part of London and provide opportunities for local people and visitors to explore the river.
