The project was inspired by the Founder's work with families in refugee camps in Greece and extensive experience working with vulnerable people and environmental charities for the past 10 years. The idea is to help children engage in outdoor learning, using nature trails, forest schools and outdoor play to help them learn as well as facilitating better mental health. Subject to funding, we would also like to run 'days out' with them. Croydon has an abundance of green spaces, this would be a great way to get marginalised children outdoors and explore nature.
