Aims & Activities
The Museum of Croydon is part of Croydon Council's Children, families & learning department. We are responsible for delivering a number of services through our galleries at Croydon Clocktower:
Museum of Croydon gallery - Tells the story of Croydon from 1800 to the present day, through objects and stories of local people.
Riesco Gallery - Home to the 200 items from the Riesco Collection of Chinese ceramics and Croydon's Roman and Anglo-Saxon collections.
Exhibition Gallery - Changing displays of works from the Borough Art Collection.
Research Room - The place to go to find out more about our collections and discover the history of your family, house or local community.
Events & activities programme - We also run a fun and interactive programme of events, activities & special projects to encourage local people to enjoy and learn from our collections.
