FREE SUPPORT FOR CROYDON MUMS - GUIDING HANDS
Guiding hands aims to reach out to as many young families living within the poverty bracket and enhance life choices by taking away the pressure of sourcing food and resources for their families. Also providing social foodbanks and holiday placements.
Enabling all to attend without the need for referrals. they currently run two programs within the Croydon area both based at the Croydon Methodist Church next to the Lidl car park on 89-93 London Road (near West Croydon Station).
*FOODIE FRIDAYS 10am - 12.30pm, this is aimed to replace the "junk food FRIDAYS" where mums come together, socialise, learn to cook a healthy alternative meal and not only take that meal home with them but are given a free grocery shop each week.
*And on a Thursday evening 4.30 - 5.30, they host YOUNG MUM'S NETBALL.
Both programs are free of charge and have a creche, giving the mums that time to themselves.
