Grow Wild Outreach

Grow Wild Outreach provide a wide range of activities connecting individuals and groups to nature that help them:

  • Improve physical, mental, emotional wellbeing and health.
  • Reduce feelings of stress.
  • Socially interact with others.
  • Support local community projects to care for and nurture their natural environments.
  • Learn new skills or regain skills for education, employment, or rehabilitation.

Activities can include: guided nature walks and cycling (inc. mobility aid and chair-assisted), gardening, nature inspired crafts, conservation activities, and watersports.

The activities are tailored to the individual or group's needs and can be participated in for a full or half day.

We work with children (5+) and adults with:

  • Challenges to their skills and function from illness, disease, or injury eg. Stroke, Brain injury, Arthritis.
  • Experiences of mental and emotional distress - eg. from Adverse PsychoSocial experiences such as trauma, grief, and loneliness; or people who have been given a mental health diagnosis.
