The Lunch Club runs Monday to Friday each week from 11.00am - 2.00pm. It is held at the New Horizon Centre, South Lodge Avenue, Pollard Hill, Mitcham CR4 1LT. Two-course lunch is followed by an hour’s optional entertainment, information and exercise including craft activities, Sporting Memories, indoor bowling and quoits, talks from local police, GP surgery, bingo and trading standards (for avoiding scams).
Ring 020 87649582 to enquire. £5 per person per day includes lunch with care provided by two care assistants and friendly volunteers as well as the optional activities. Transport can also be arranged for Merton residents.
