"A Place to Be" is a local social group offering a warm welcome to people living with dementia and their carers (any age). We have an experienced group of volunteers who provide a warm and friendly welcome and we offer a range of activities throughout the year including: Music, Entertainment, Quiz’s, Arts & Crafts, Seated Exercise, Board Game Afternoons.
Most importantly “a place to be” is a group where people can come together and enjoy sharing experiences and find companionship in a relaxed environment away from the stresses of everyday life.
