Aims & Activities
The Refugee Council Children’s Section works directly with separated children and young people seeking asylum who are under the age of 18 when they enter the UK, as well as giving advice to those involved in their support. The Children’s Section has operated since 1994, and is the only national service of its kind. We also work with young people whose age is disputed and with trafficked children. The Children's Section has offices across England and provides a telephone and email advice service, Monday - Friday 9am - 5.30pm. Drop-in services are also available - please see website for details. As well as support and advice the Children's Section also provides social activities and English classes to young people from our Croydon office.
