Citizens Advice Croydon - South Norwood Office

Organisation Contact Details
Aims & Activities
Our main purpose is to provide free advice to anyone who needs it. We provide advice on any subject but the most common issues are benefits, debts, employment, housing, consumer and personal issues. We provide advice through face to face interviews, by letter and over the phone.

Our twin aim is to campaign for positive change at both a local and national level through Social Policy Work. Recent campaigns include raising the problems people have experienced with Tax Credits and campaigning for easier access to NHS dentists.

Volunteers help us by fulfilling a number of roles; adviser, Trustee Board member, administration, typing, reception duties, IT support, form filler, Social Policy worker and other role which benefits both parties. Full training is given and out of pocket expenses paid.
