We provide fun and adventure by providing Scouting for young people between the ages of 6 - 14 in the wards of Fieldway and New Addington. We actively engage and support young people in their personal development, whilst also empowering them to make a positive contribution to society. This is achieved by providing a programme that offers challenging activities, unique experiences, everyday adventure and the chance to make a positive impact on communities through helping others. We are always looking for new ways in how we can help our local community.
All adults in the Group whether Occasional Helpers, Leaders or those individuals on our Executive Committee are all volunteers and are fully supported in whichever role they choose to take in the Group.
To enable us to provide our programme of activities, camps and excursions we actively seek funding opportunities, particularly as we are based in an a community where many families experience multiple barriers to participation.
