Dementia Action Week from 13 - 19 May 2024

Dementia Action Week from 13 - 19 May 2024

Calendar of Events and activities taking place during Dementia Action Week.

Some are one-off events and others are activities that take place regularly.

Action Week

Did you know that someone develops dementia every three minutes in the U.K.? It’s true, and dementia not only affects old people (over the age of 65), but it can also affect people in their 30s, 40s, or 50s. Many people with dementia feel cut off from their community, lose friendships, and face the condition alone. Dementia Awareness Week is all about supporting people with dementia and making the U.K. a dementia-friendly place.
