The Church hosts both a choir. Obviously singing is first and foremost but we do occasionally enjoy social activities. The Choir leads the music in services and occasionally puts on concerts. Currently, money raised from concerts will go into a special fund earmarked for organ cleaning at a future date.

The choir currently numbers about 13. In the main, we try to sing simple things well, but it can sometimes be rewarding to tackle music which is on the edge of our capabilities. New members are always welcome and can try us out for a few weeks without obligation. Within our choir practices we are including some short sessions on reading music which may be of interest to prospective singers. All levels of singing ability are very welcome. There are no auditions and those who really want to sing (and think they can’t) will be given plenty of help and encouragement.

We are affiliated to The Royal School of Church Music.

Practices are held in the choir vestry

 Thursdays 7pm - 8.30pm (sometimes a little later).

We practice at 9.30am on Sunday mornings before the 10am service.
