What's On?

Taking place between Tuesday 4th August and Thursday 13th August, we’ve got an exciting range of free Family Learning workshops to choose from. Held at our Croydon Clocktower centre or the MHA Wilderness Garden, these workshops are suitable for parents, carers and their children*.

We are passionate about the positive benefits of learning together as a family, building confidence, creativity and lasting connections.

Croydon Clocktower – Tuesday 4th August

Teddy Bear Crafts

A fun crafting session with six activity stations where you can create everything needed for your own teddy bear’s picnic. Please bring your favourite teddy bear.

Also create funny paper plate portraits and emojis.

Recommended age: 3–7 years

 Times: 10am–12pm or 1pm–3pm

The Joy of Reading & Playing with Children

Stories, activities and ideas for enjoyable family days out during the summer.

Recommended age: 3–5 years

 Times: 10am–12pm or 1pm–3pm

Mindful Monkeys

An interactive workshop combining active play and relaxation in a supportive environment.

Recommended age: 3+ years

 Time: 10am–12pm

Monster Comics Workshop

Create your own comic monster and mini comic strip with an artist and comic creator.

Recommended age: 7+ years

 Time: 10am–12pm

Dance Workshop

Learn fun choreography, develop creativity and make new friends.

Recommended age: 5+ years

 Time: 1pm–3pm

Manga Drawing Workshop

Learn character design, facial expressions and create a one-page manga story.

Recommended age: 7+ years

Time: 1pm–3pm
