We meet for a hot lunch, friendship, and a variety of activities every Wednesday from 12:30 – 3pm.
- What is The Hive?
The Hive is a safe space in St John’s Church Hall, Sylvan Road, Upper Norwood SE19 2RX to meet for lunch every Wednesday from 12 – 3pm.
- Who is The Hive for?
The Hive is for anyone in the community to come and have a free two course meal and socialise. You can make new friends, play games, sit and talk or just take time to relax. At 2 pm, you can join in with the singing!
- How much does The Hive cost?
There is no cost for The Hive. If you might be in a position to support The Hive financially, we would be very grateful. You can donate here.
- What happens at The Hive?
We eat lunch, we relax, and we socialise! Our relationship coach, Rachel New, also runs a session of fun activities and discussion to help us think about how we relate to each other, and Danny Simpson runs a choir. All activities are optional.
- Who runs The Hive?
The Hive is run by our Pastoral Auxiliary, Danny Simpson, and a dedicated group of volunteers from St John’s.
