  • Low Vision Clinic (monthly) 10.30 - 12.30 - An opportunity to test devices/aids/gadgets and get helpful advice). Appointments are free, devices can be purchased or requested from the sensory impairment team
  • Counselling by appointment 10.30 - 12.30 and  1.30 - 3.00pm
  • Choir (fortnightly) 1.30 - 3.00pm


*ACTIVITY/CLUBS : £5 per club, or £8 for 2 AM and PM club


* Lunch Club- £9 for main and dessert, £7 main only
*Transport Service- £12 return/£6 single journey
*Chiropody (monthly, very popular, recommended to book two months in advance) £20, cash only; fee is paid directly to chiropodist
*Counselling free (waiting list, counsellor practices SFBT (Solution-Focused Brief Therapy), in this approach, the counsellor acts as a facilitator who trusts that you are the expert in your own life and already possess the strengths needed to solve your problems. She is in her second year of training and has a clinical supervisor. She can see three patients at any one time; typically, each will have between 6-12 sessions depending on the clinical requirements.
*Advice & Advocacy- Support with PIP, Attendance Allowance, Blue Badge, Dial-a-Ride, Carer’s Allowance and many more. We do not have any housing expertise, so typically signpost to CAB. Service is free but donations are encouraged. Home visits are available but usually have a slightly longer waiting list of 3-4 weeks.
*Tech Support- Free service for support and advice for all things tech-related including laptops, phones, tablets etc. Home visits and one-to-one lessons available for upskilling. Donations are encouraged with home visits.
*Working Age Group- Daily free activities from Monday to Wednesday including ESOL class, Braille Class, Audio Book Club, Creative skills workshop, Knitting/crochet class and Working Age weekly meeting. Meeting includes weekly presence from Job Centre Plus and employment specialists and is geared towards finding employment and confidence building. One-to-one sessions on career/vocational goals are available as well as socialising opportunities out in the community.
*Indian Head Massage- facilitated by trained masseuse Stella; promotes better sleep, circulation, stress relief, pain reduction and many more health benefits. Private appointment at Croydon Vision, price £20(with oil)/£15(without oil), appointments last approximately 1 hour and Stella will conduct a pre-appointment phone call to see if the service is clinically safe for the individual.
*Outreach- Free initial one-off home visits for members who are housebound; to tell them about services in detail and assess how we can best support them
*Macular Society and Glaucoma Support Group monthly and every-other-month respectively, although they are independently run by external parties, many Croydon Vision members participate in the groups.
