The sewing workshops will help people learn a new skill that they can use to find employment, become self-employed, or support their friends and family.


Have you recently been thinking of learning a new skill? But don't know where to begin. Our beginner workshop on Sewing is the perfect way to get started.


Maybe you have some old clothes that could do with a new life? Our upcycle workshop could give you a helping hand.

What you will learn :

  • How to sew straight seams and hot to finish them
  • Sew with a seam allowance
  • Use your reverse/ lock stitch button
  • Pivot and change direction when sewing
  • Sew using a straight stitch
  • Sew using a zig zag stitch
