Studio Upstairs is a working arts community for adults (18+) in mental and emotional distress and those in drug and alcohol recovery. We provide our members with space to make artwork, artistic resources and therapeutic support with two qualified art therapists. The studio grants a safe social space where, in the short to longer term, members can experience a sense of belonging.

During the pandemic we also offer remote support with phone and video calls for those who can't attend in person.

The studios are based in Dalston, Croydon and Bristol, but with remote support you can be based anywhere. Our studio in Croydon is open Tuesdays and Thursdays 10 am - 5 pm. 

Our sessions cost £68 per session, and we recommend you contact your GP, care coordinator, key worker, etc. as soon as possible to look into funding for you.

If you can't receive funding for your sessions, we do offer limited places for self-funded members for a limited time (3 months) for £31 per session, where you will have to set up a standing order with your bank for £124 per month.
