For the duration of the COVID-19 crisis we are running a food hub Our food hub operating from the Elim Church building is open Mon-Fri, 9am-2pm: Food parcels, shopping or a prescription pick-up for anyone who is locked down or otherwise unable to support themselves and their family in the CR7 7XX and CR7 8XX areas.
Mon-Fri, 3-5pm: Requests delivered between 3-5pm. For help or if you can offer help to deliver food? Call 07305 523912
The Elim Pentecostal church has set up a Hub supporting residents in the CR7 postcode through the delivery of food parcels. We collect fresh and other food from a number of supermarkets for their food bank and have now set up to be able to deliver food parcels to local people shut in. We are also negotiating with local pharmacies to help deliver prescriptions.
Please visit www.mershamroad.org or email thehub@mershamroad.org for more information.
We are open and also in need of food donations, which can be dropped at the church address below, with an alternative drop-off if the church isn’t open. We can collect food donations if necessary under the category of “helping vulnerable people”.
This activity is specifically on Simply Connect Croydon as part of the community response to the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) situation.
